New shipping services have started from DP World London Gateway as their second berth opens for business.
The five new routes are to North America, South America, the Middle East, and Europe.
The G6, one of the world’s largest shipping alliances, has started calls of
the PA2 (Pacific Atlantic) service to the port, replacing a similar service that used to call at Felixstowe. G6 Alliance
members are APL, HMM, MOL, Hapag Lloyd, NYK, & OOCL. Also calling at London Gateway are the SAEC1 Service (South America East Coast) and the

EPIC service (Europe Pakistan India Consortium). London Gateway has also signed a deal
for X-Press Feeders’ weekly service linking directly with Dublin and Rotterdam.
Rail links also continue to develop with DB Schenker serving Manchester, Daventry, Wakefield and South Wales from London Gateway and Freightliner serving Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.
