The Celeste was completed
in 2014 and is the first to use MSC’s redesigned South
America West Coast-USA-Northwest Continent service line. It stops in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, the Bahamas, Philadelphia and Rotterdam.

Online shopping giants
Amazon are opening a new distribution centre in Tilbury – with the promise of more than 1,500 new jobs.

Its 13th UK ‘fulfilment centre’,
or warehouse site, is set to
open in spring next year to
meet rising demand and Amazon chiefs say it will use
the latest robotics technology.

A growing number of small businesses selling on Amazon Marketplace has also driven
the expansion – which it’s
hoped will help add to the
150 million items already on sale through the popular site.
