The simplest way to get in touch is
online via an online feedback
‘Have Your Say’ form on the PLA
website. Here you will be asked to answer three simple question:
What do you value most about
 the tidal Thames?
What are your top three priorities
for the future of the tidal Thames?
What would you like the PLA to
be doing for the tidal Thames?

Alternatively you can write to us, ideally answering the same questions by email to: [email protected] or by post:
Dr Katherine Riggs, Thames Vision
Project Director, PLA, London River
House, Royal Pier Road, Gravesend,
Kent, DA12 2BG

Developing the Vision starts with finding out what people think. That’s why we’ve launched Have Your Say, inviting people to tell us what they think the future priorities are for the tidal Thames.

Have Your Say closes on 6 May 2015 and the feedback will help shape the agenda for a series of open forum sessions in May and June. The open forums will be followed by focused seminars with different themes: port trade, passenger services, leisure, environment and so on.

Through the summer we will start to pull the Vision together, drawing on the initial consultations, the results of a range of commissioned studies and existing Government, Greater London Authority, county and borough plans/policies.

By the Autumn, we will have the draft Vision ready and start consultations on it.

We will take in suggestions,
proposed changes and advice on
what needs to be done to achieve
the Vision, exploring opportunities
and constraints.

This will shape the final Vision, which will be published in Spring 2016.

There will be an extensive programme of meetings with stakeholders as we develop
the Vision for the Tidal Thames.
We are currently finalising the details for the initial consultation events and expect them
to be on the following dates:
 14 May 2015 – London Rowing
 Club, Putney TBC
 21 May 2015 – Gold Room/Whitmore
 Suite, Orsett Hall,
 Princes Charles Ave, Orsett, Essex,
 RM16 3HS
 2 June 2015 – St Paul’s Roof
 Pavilion, Southbank Centre

As soon as meeting details are confirmed they will be on the PLA website (www.pla.co.uk) and tweeted via @LondonPortAuth
